The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is an Indian Public sector Undertaking based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is owned by the Government of India. It has its own responsibility for the generation of electricity through Nuclear. NPCIL is administered by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). There are in total 22 sites in operation and 6 are under construction. The Capacity of all NPCIL is 6780 MWe, the output for FY18 was 38,336 MWh. There are 11,441 employees working in NPCIL as of 2018.

NPCIL Recruitment 2019-20:  – Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) will soon issue a notification for the recruitment to fulfill the vacant posts of Stipendiary Trainees and Scientific Assistants for Rawatbhata, Rajasthan (RR) Site.

Eligibility Criteria for Stipendiary Trainees and Scientific Assistant is based on the notification issued by NPCIL for Kakrapar, Gujarat Site.

Age Limit for ST/SA in NPCIL Recruitment 2019-20

• For Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering – 18 – 25 years
• For Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates – 18 – 25 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidates applying as Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistants under Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics and Chemical Trades must hold a Diploma (3 years) in Engineering in the relevant trades with minimum 60% marks after SSC/HSC or must have a 2-year Diploma in engineering in the relevant trade duly approved by AICTE with at least 60% or above marks, and must have studied English as one of the subjects at the SSC or HSC level.
• Candidates applying as Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistants under Chemistry as a Trade must be a B.Sc graduate in Chemistry as the principal subject and Mathematics/Physics/Electronics & Computer Science and Statistics as a subsidiary with at least 60% marks, and must have studied English as one of the subjects at the SSC or HSC level.
• Candidates applying as Scientific Assistant/B under Civil Trade must hold a Diploma (3 years) in Civil Engineering and must have studied English as one of the subjects at the SSC or HSC level.

Pay Scale

• Candidates selected as Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistants Category-I will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 16,000/- pm (1st Year) and Rs. 18,000 pm in (2nd year).
