Educational
Qualifications:
Candidates
have been passed qualifying degree examinations and taken the award of
bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology in the below given disciplines. All
the qualifications should be full time regular (4 years regular) from AICTE
approved/UGC recognized university.
Candidates
belonging to general and OBC category should have secured minimum of 60% marks
till the end of last semester in the qualifying examinations and candidates
belonging to ST/SC/PWD category should have secured minimum of 50% marks at the
end of last semester in the qualifying examinations.
Candidates
those who are in final year of their engineering studies may also apply,
however if selected they need to submit their certificates by 31/08/2016 and
must and should secured 60% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to general
and OBC category and 50% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to ST/SC/PWD.

receive their GATE 2016 Registration Number printed on their card. Based on
GATE-2016 registration number candidates need to apply to HPCL online, the relevant

Applicants
are required to pay Non-Refundable amount of Rs.263 (including bank charges)
for candidates belonging to general and OBC, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD
are exempted from payment of application fee.
