UPSC Recruitment Notification for Combined Defense Services Examination

Union Public Service Commission invited applications from Denizen of India for Combined Defence Services Examination 2016 to fulfill the vacant posts in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air force Academy, Officers Training Course, and Officers Training Academy for man and women. All the eligible Candidates can apply for the examination conducted by UPSC before the last date: 04/12/2015. How to apply? Eligibility, age limit and examination fee are provided below in detail.

Examination will be conducted by UPSC on 14 Feb 2016 for admissions to the
Courses.

1.   Indian Military Academy.

No of vacancies: 200 vacancies.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2^nd January 1993 and not later than 1^st January 1998.

2.   Indian Naval Academy.

No of vacancies: 45 vacancies.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a degree in engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2^nd January 1993 and not later than 1^st January 1998.

3.   Air Force Academy.

No of vacancies: 32 vacancies.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized University(with physics and mathematics at 12^th level) or B.Tech.

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum of 24 years as on 1^st January 2017.

4.   Officers Training Academy.

No of vacancies: 175 vacancies.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit: Married or unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2^nd January 1992 and not later than 1^st January 1998.

5.   Officers Training Academy (non-technical).

No of vacancies: 05 vacancies.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit: Unmarried Women candidates born not earlier than 2^nd January 1992 and not later than 1^st January 1998.

Examination Fee: Candidates belonging to SC/ST and Female are exempted to pay fee and others have to pay Rs.200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility.
