Eastern Railway Recruitment of Sports Person

Eastern Railway Invited Application through recruitment notification/Advertisement for filling up the vacant Posts of 60 Sports Person against Sports Quota for Job Location All over India. Interested and Eligible Candidate should apply through prescribed application form before last date 16-12-2015. All Information regarding Position educational qualifications, age limit, selection and application process are given below.

1. Sports Person Category (1)

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates should hold Relevant Degree from a recognized from a recognized university or its equivalent.
  
  
• No of vacancies: 05 vacancies.
• Age Limit: Minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 Years (Age as on 01.01.2016).
  
  
• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- Per Month.

2. Sports Person Category (2)

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be 12th pass and passed out Act Apprenticeship/ITI in relevant. Act Apprenticeship/ITI certificate must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.
  
  
• No of vacancies: 16 Vacancies.
• Age Limit: Minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 Years (Age as on 01.01.2016).
• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- Per Month.

3. Sports Person Category (3)

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be Minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
  
  
• No of vacancies: 39 vacancies.
• Age Limit: Minimum of 18 years and maximum of 25 Years (Age as on 01.01.2016).
• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- Per Month.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging General/OBC have to pay Rs. 100/- through Demand Draft of Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO,Eastern Railway, Kolkata payable at Kolkata. Candidates belonging S/ST/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Class Candidates Exempted from application fee.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written Test and Personal Interview.
